ICPC Gets Nod To Investigate Akwa Ibom State Finances

The Akwa-Ibom State High Court sitting in Ikot Ekpene has ruled that the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission, ICPC, has the authority to investigate allegations of corruption involving the finances of the Akwa Ibom State Government.

Ex-Governor’s Aide Owns 23 Estates, Keeps Arms

In one of the latest big discoveries of proceeds of corruption, the Independent Corrupt Practices and other Related Offences Commission, ICPC, has discovered 23 estates with about 202 houses, allegedly belonging to one Sanusi Muhammed, an aide of former Bauchi State governor, Isa Yuguda.
