A new immigration policy document titled, “Immigration Regulations 2017” was on Monday unveiled by the Minister of Interior, Abdulrahman Dambazau, to check the entry of terrorists and other trans-border criminals into the country.
James said that the new Immigration Regulations, 2017 which will be launched by the Interior Minister, Abdulrahman Dambazzau, is a vital document that will give legal backing to the implementation of the Immigration Act, 2015.
Minister of Interior, Abdulrahman Dambazzau, noted that the introduction of the new cards was in line with international best practices and in pursuit of the federal government policy to keep record of movement of international passengers coming into Nigeria.
